Regent University's Students for Life sponsored a Stop the Violence event to bring awareness to the violence committed against women and children in abortion.
Bags of baby socks represented the children's lives lost to abortion in Hampton Roads on a regular basis.
Women harmed by abortion were represented as well. Women deserve helpful, not harmful and violent, health care. Students distributed information about abortion recovery, and resources and alternatives to abortion. Family restoration requires efforts to stop the violence against women and their children.
