A tremendous foe of family restoration is the reproductive right to an abortion, but until now women have not been adequately informed of the inherent hazards of exercising that right. New research is revealing that having an abortion doubles the risk of having a premature birth in a subsequent pregnancy -- that is the conclusion delivered by a European researcher at a recent medical conference.
Several previous studies have shown that abortion hurts women and future children by significantly increasing the chance of premature delivery for future pregnancies.
