Kansas had a 46% increase
in TANF expenditures over the last five years, households throughout the state
had a 235% increase in annual SNAP costs since 2007, and the State saw a 31%
increase in food costs for WIC from 2007-2011. The conservative five year cost
of family fragmentation of TANF, SNAP and WIC for Kansas is $678,387,907.12.
Kentucky had a 22% increase
in TANF expenditures, Kentucky households had a 187% increase in annual SNAP
costs, and the State had only a 4% increase in food costs for WIC. The conservative
five year cost of family fragmentation of TANF, SNAP and WIC for Kentucky is
$1,866,821,083.80.
Louisiana saw a 46% increase
in TANF expenditures over the last five years, Louisiana households had a 186%
increase in annual SNAP costs since 2007, and the State saw a 41% increase in
food costs for WIC from 2007-2011. The
conservative five year cost of family fragmentation of TANF, SNAP and WIC for
Louisiana is $2,148,938,969.54.
