Families throughout Israel are in tears this week. Suddenly and viciously attacked by terrorists
while celebrating holy days, harmless families found their home infiltrated by terrorists, killing, and kidnapping innocents.
The conflict and
treatment of these innocents has been nothing short of horrific. Many Israelis and foreign allies in-country
remain sheltered in place, anxious moment-to-moment for their safety, wondering
whether and how they will escape this tragic conflict.
God often uses dark
times to shine the light of His truth in even the most unexpected places. Pray He would do so now, as a defender of the
innocent, as Scripture pleads in the Psalms:
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
"May
those who love you be secure.
May
there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels.”
For
the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
-- Psalm 122:6-8
Thank you for your
prayers and compassion for the people caught in this horrible conflict, and
those fighting nobly to end it. May Numbers 6:22-27, the Aaronic
Blessing, the basis for The
Blessing, comfort them, their families, and you, your family. He is for you
and your family.
